Oct 15, 2018 at 13:05 | comment | added | user1271772 No more free time | I haven't had a chance to look at the original text of N&C and Andrew Landahl because it's first thing in the morning and I have to go to work, but based on what you said it looks like construct and simulate mean the same thing, and it is interesting that in chapter 3 they say you need a minimum of 4 gates and in chapter 4 they say you need a minimum of 3 gates. What are the gate sets used for each case? {CNOT,H,T} in both cases? Or does the situation requiring only 3 gates have access to more types of gates? Sorry I wasn't able to read the N&C text yet and won't have time until Thursday. | |
